Getting the right chain for your chainsaw is getting even more complex as lighter machines are made with even thinner variations of chainsaw chain.

In order to get cutting speed, the lower powered engines and battery powered saws are now using a very small pitch narrow kerf chain hence it becomes critical to have the right information when getting a chain for your machine. It is very easy to get the wrong type. We regularly see the results of incorrect chain types (too narrow on wrong pitch) having been supplies off the shelf from the “box stores”.
